'NUMBERS ISSUED' A brilliant little book by Rikki Hyde who has attempted to list the number of sheets of stamps printed and therefore the total number of stamps issued for Queen Victorian and King Edward VII issues. Reprinted by Stanley Gibbons in 1995.

'THE ESSENTIAL GUIDE TO THE GREAT BRITAIN LINE ENGRAVED 1d & 2d STAMPS' by Dr Kenneth Statham. A complete set of volumns in slip cases as new and hardly used. A monumental work and a must for the student of the Queen Victorian line engraved stamps. Postage/carriage extra.

.'MALTESE CROSS CANCELLATIONS' by Alcock & Holland. An excellent loose-leaf bound book published in 1959 with listings of most of the DISTINCTIVE Maltese Cross cancels. Contains a large number of reproduced photo-like illustrations of covers with the corresponding distinctive cross. A rare book and not seen around these days. With plastic guages to help with identification.

'GUIDELINES TO THE PENNY BLACK' by LITCHFIELD. Superb hard bound copy of the 1st edition with dust cover published in 1947 which allows you to plate any Penny Black. Has charateristics of all letterings from AA to TL and is quite easy to use.

'SCOTS LOCAL CANCELLATIONS'. Second edition book by C W Meredith and published by Alcock's in 1963 for all the Scots Locals/Street cancels. Well illustrated with various types and a rarity guide as well.

'THE PLATING OF THE PENNY 1840-1864' VOL 4. This volume covers the Alphabet 2 plates from 132 to 175. Published in 1979. With measuring gauge. (Volumes 1-3 & 5 also available, please enquire)
